New updated information. These were the overall awards and honors that Barbara Vernoski took at the American Queen National  Pageant, in Daytona Beach on Aug 1-2.  These are the awards won, She received the most awards in the Pageant out of all the divisions.

To top it off:

-I also won a  pink sapphire and diamond ring during a fund raising raffle


The Mrs Division was won by Mrs Rhode Island Barbara Lee, A Heart felt Congratulations to her!



American Queen is known as a "pageant with a mission" DASH  program is supported by this pageant. DASH stands for Domestic  Abuse Stops Here.

It provides educational programs for Jr High and High school kids, to educated them about abusive relationships. To find out more about DASH

My Story on HOW I Won even though I didn’t take the top  Place


I had a smile on my face and was at peace, even one of my little girls who was a princess was upset that I did not win. “Mommy I gave the flowers to the wrong person!”  It was a great teaching moment as a mom, "I explained to her, “Honey I won, because I did something new and did my best".  It meant so much that one of my little girls thought so highly of me.    See how NLP can help you feel like a winner all the time.  RestoringYourMind.com
